Hi, I'm Chris Weingarten. I've been a professional Recording Engineer for six years. I've taught audio recording at the college level and just left it all and leapt with faith to Brooklyn. Everyday I meet someone who needs to record and who wants to be creative. I know from personal experience that studios charge a lot of money to record and not all artists have the money to make a well recorded album possible.
With your help I want to start a high-fidelity mobile recording studio that specializes in high quality recordings at a cheaper rate. Being mobile means no rent to pay on commercial spaces, which means lower rates for the artist.
I need $25,000 to get the proper equipment to make this worth people's time. This includes microphones, preamps, studio speakers, a computer, the software, miscellaneous equipment like cables and connectors, and mixing tools.
I'm calling it Elsewhere Studio.
